A fine dining experience – casual with an elegant touch -- and excellent customer service will be the hallmarks of the new Raffael's Restaurant that's expected to open at South Shore Country Club in mid-March after extensive renovations.
The name of the restaurant, currently called "The 19th Hole," has not yet been decided.
Club members will be invited to make suggestions in the meantime.

Funeral services are under way for Chicago Board of Education President Michael Scott.
A public memorial will be Sunday at the Chicago campus of the University of Illinois.
Scott's body was found earlier this week partially submerged in the Chicago River.

The contents of a disaster relief box are being used as musical instruments for a very unusual orchestra concert.
Concerto for ShelterBox D-141 and Orchestra was composed using items which have helped thousands of disaster victims around the world.
Real instruments will also feature in the performance at Exeter University in Devon to raise money for the international charity ShelterBox.

In an effort to foster healthy eating habits in Cabell County, Cabell Huntington Hospital is donating $130,000 to the cause.
As "Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution" wrapped up filming Saturday, Cabell Huntington Hospital announced that they would be donating $50,000 to keep Jamie's Kitchen up and running even after Jamie Oliver and his production crew leaves town.

Roush Fenway Racing's Carl Edwards claimed the pole for the final NASCAR Nationwide Series race of the season, the Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
He edged Kevin Harvick Inc.'s Ryan Newman, who ran 167.978 in the No. 33 Chevrolet.
Richard Childress Racing's Jeff Burton was third, with Joe Gibbs Racing's Joey Logano fourth and JGR's Kyle Busch fifth.
